We are delighted to invite you to discover RÉESPIRATION, a unique work by Samuel Bianchini, which comes to life at the heart of the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris. This fascinating project fuses art and medicine to explore a fundamental question: how can respiratory empathy be used to bring well-being and potentially cure?

RÉESPIRATION is a work that involves scientific and medical dimensions. It is the result of a commission initiated by healthcare professionals from the R3S Department (“Respiration, Resuscitation, Respiratory Rehabilitation, Sleep”) at the Hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière, along with other stakeholders from the hospital. This group of individuals sought, as part of the Nouveaux commanditaires initiative supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Fondation de France, to explore the experience of art to address a fundamental and complex issue: how can respiratory empathy be harnessed to promote well-being and even, possibly, healing?
