Nous avons l’immense plaisir de vous inviter à découvrir RÉESPIRATION, une œuvre unique de Samuel Bianchini, qui prend vie au cœur de l’Hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière à Paris. Ce projet fascinant fusionne l’art et la médecine pour explorer une question fondamentale : comment l’empathie respiratoire peut-elle être utilisée pour apporter du bien-être et potentiellement soigner ?

RÉESPIRATION est une œuvre impliquant des dimensions scientifiques et médicales. Elle est issue d’une commande portée par des soignants et soignantes du Départe- ment R3S (“Respiration, Réanimation, Réadaptation respiratoire, Sommeil”) de l’Hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière accompagnés d’autres acteurs de cet hôpital. Ce groupe de personnes a souhaité, dans le cadre de l’action Nouveaux commanditaires soutenue par le ministère de la Culture et la Fondation de France, tenter l’expérience de l’art pour répondre à un problème fondamental et complexe : comment tirer parti de l’empathie respiratoire pour prodiguer du bien-être et même, possiblement, soigner ?

This fascinating project merges art and medicine to explore a fundamental question: how can respiratory empathy be used to promote well-being and potentially heal?

RÉESPIRATION is a work involving scientific and medical dimensions. It is the result of a commission initiated by healthcare professionals from the R3S Department (“Respiration, Resuscitation, Respiratory Rehabilitation, Sleep”) at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, in collaboration with other stakeholders from the hospital. This group of individuals, as part of the New Commissioners initiative supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Fondation de France, aimed to experiment with art to address a fundamental and complex issue: how can we harness respiratory empathy to provide well-being and possibly even healing?
