Lors de cette troisième séance du séminaire doctoral du laboratoire de recherche de l’école, nous accueillerons Julia Morandeira Arrizabalaga.

Julia Morandeira Arrizabalaga est une chercheuse et curatrice travaillant dans les champs croisés de la théorie critique, critique culturelle, et pratiques éducatives et artistiques. Depuis 2024, elle est Directrice des Études au Musée National Centre d’Art Reina Sofia à Madrid. Ses projets s’articulent autour d’enquêtes curatoriales à long terme telles que Canibalia; Be careful with each other, so we can be dangerous together; Choreographies Sociales; Études de la Nuit; The Hauntologists; ou Bastardie. Parmi les postes qu’elle a occupés précédemment, elle a été directrice de KADIST Paris (2023-2024), curatrice du programme post-académique de BAK, basis voor actuele kunst à Utrecht (2021-2023) ou co-directrice d’escuelita au CA2M-Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo à Móstoles (2016-2020), entre autres. Elle a été aussi professeure à l’Université de Leiden (2022-2024) et au master Dutch Art Institute (2019-2023).

During this third session of the doctoral seminar at the research laboratory of the school, we will welcome Julia Morandeira Arrizabalaga.

Julia Morandeira Arrizabalaga is a researcher and curator working in the intersecting fields of critical theory, cultural critique, and educational and artistic practices. Since 2024, she has been the Director of Studies at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia in Madrid. Her projects focus on long-term curatorial investigations such as Canibalia; Be careful with each other, so we can be dangerous together; Choreographies Sociales; Studies of the Night; The Hauntologists; and Bastardie. Among her previous roles, she was the director of KADIST Paris (2023-2024), curator of the post-academic program at BAK, basis voor actuele kunst in Utrecht (2021-2023), and co-director of escuelita at CA2M-Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo in Móstoles (2016-2020), among others. She has also taught at the University of Leiden (2022-2024) and the Dutch Art Institute Master’s program (2019-2023).
